Dry Spice is a brilliant way to preserve the contents of your spice cabinet.
It's a simple concept, yet it works wonders: a small canister containing a FDA-approved drying agent absorbs moisture from your herbs and spices.
Dry Spice can be used with sugar, salt, coffee, tea and other pantry items, as well. Just slip the little Dry Spice canister into any container, and it will eliminate caking, clumping and keep the contents fresher and more flavorful.
Sounds great, right? Who needs to throw away expensive herbs and spices?
I did my own Dry Spice experiment. I have a relatively inexpensive, all-purpose spice blend in my cabinet called Spike. As soon as I open a new bottle of it, it gets clumpy and hard to use. I figured Spike was the perfect test for Dry Spice.
A day after placing Dry Spice in the Spike bottle, all the clumping and caking was gone. I'm officially sold on this ingenious spice preserver.
One packet of Dry Spice contains 10 canisters.
